God has really blessed me in health, career and the love of a family. It’s time to give back to those who are less fortunate. My goal is to knit 10 hats by thanksgiving for the homeless. A friend who services the homeless has asked for assistance in providing warm hats and gloves for those in need. I started the first hat on Monday and I am finished and on my second hat. I’m off to a good start. My Daughter Lauren has agreed to help me.
I wanted to know what all the fuss was about Chatelaine designs. So, I bought one and then another. As with most of us, we buy patterns and tuck them away in a drawer and never stitch them. Well, this design is quite expensive and I have promised myself that I will complete them both and not buy another unless I so. This is my progress from this weekend. There will be Lots of specialty stitches, beads and sparkle. Off to a good start!!
I’m really enjoying working on this beautiful Spring Sampler by Laura Perin! There isn’t much time left in the day after working 8-10 hours a day. However, I took the time today to work on this fun design with lots of bling. Also, I was able to get a close up of the details in the design to give you a better view. What are you working on today?
This is my new craft cabinet (Alex cabinet) that I purchased from IKEA for $119.00. It only took me one hour to assemble (with a little help from you tube video https://youtu.be/wQJ6aIRveB8. I can now organize some of my sewing, quilting and stitching supplies. Several more cabinets will be needed. However, this will be a good start. Have a wonderful Sunday and take some time to do what you love!
